Been awhile...2009 update...

Wow. Been a while since I posted a journal entry. It's 2009. I was promoted to manager in my job Oct. 2008. Still gettin' the hang of it. Haven't done much art wise in a while. Oh, well. Learning to "just do it".

Just reiterating a few simple rules of graffiti and photos.
1) Ask.
Ask if you can take flix. Even if its a legal event ask if you can post the flix. If its ok to post the flick ask how they want it labeled.
2) Don't post flicks of people painting.
If you do blur out anything that would let anyone identify them. Anything. Even if you are shooting them from behind there could be other things there that give up the game. Blur. Better still just take flix of the pieces.
3) Don't post photos of people at an event.
Even if they are not painting people in the crowd my be writers watching. Blur, blur, blur.
You could burn someone if you don't follow these simple rules. Even when shooting from behind and over the shoulder -- some shots might have enough info in them. Don't get sloppy because you don't need to consider the certain outcomes anymore. Don't let a mistake lead to someone else going down.
